Best Amazon PPC Software in 2026: 8 Tools Compared on Real Cost

THE SHORT ANSWER

For brands spending $10,000 to $75,000 a month on Amazon ads, Scale Insights, Ad Badger, and Helium 10 Ads offer the most control for the cost. Above $75,000, or across several retailers, look at Pacvue, Perpetua, BidX, or Quartile. Teikametrics remains the low-cost pick below $10,000.

Helium 10 charges a 2% management fee on ad spend run through Helium 10 Ads on its Diamond plan ( Helium 10 pricing). At $20,000 a month in spend, that fee is $400, more than the $359 subscription itself. Anchoring does the rest: the monthly fee you see first becomes the number you compare.

Once a brand spends five figures a month, the pricing model matters more than the feature list. This comparison is for established brands spending $10,000 or more a month on Amazon ads, and every price comes from the vendor's own pricing page, checked November 4, 2026.

The 8 Amazon PPC tools at a glance

Six of the eight tools publish prices, and two quote only after a demo. Most charge either a flat monthly fee or a base fee plus a percentage of ad spend, and that difference decides your real cost more than any feature.

Tool Starting price (verified Nov 4, 2026) Pricing model Best fit
Helium 10 Ads $359/mo, or $279/mo billed yearly Diamond plus 2% of managed spend; Enterprise from $1,499 for larger budgets Brands already on Helium 10
Scale Insights $78/mo for 5 automated ASINs Priced by ASIN count, not spend Hands-on rule builders
Ad Badger $275/mo up to $5K spend Flat fee by spend tier Brands wanting predictable fees
Teikametrics $149/mo yearly, $179 monthly, up to $10K spend Flat under $10K; custom plus 3% above Smaller budgets, Amazon and Walmart
Perpetua $695/mo up to $10K spend Base fee plus unpublished % above $10K Brands wanting strategist check-ins
BidX €495/mo plus % of connected spend Annual commitment; managed tiers Brands that may want managed help later
Pacvue Not published Demo and quote Enterprise, many retailers
Quartile Not published Demo and quote Brands wanting software plus an expert team

What each tool costs at $40,000 a month in ad spend

Published prices only show where a tool starts. This table runs each tool's published pricing against one realistic account spending $40,000 a month on Amazon ads.

Tool Monthly cost at $40K spend How it's calculated
Helium 10 Ads From $1,499 (Enterprise) Helium 10 lists Enterprise for $25K to $1M in monthly spend. On Diamond, the math would be $359 plus 2%, or $1,159
Scale Insights $178 at 20 ASINs Spend doesn't change the price; ASIN count does
Ad Badger $660 Professional tier, covers up to $75K spend
Teikametrics Custom base plus $900 3% of the $30K above $10K
Perpetua $695 plus unpublished % Growth tier
BidX €495 plus unpublished % Self Service Platform
Pacvue, Quartile Quote only No public pricing

A percentage fee that looks small at launch becomes one of the largest costs in the account as spend scales.

The 8 Amazon PPC tools, reviewed

Helium 10 Ads

Helium 10 Ads is the PPC tool inside Helium 10's research suite. It runs on the Diamond plan at $359 a month or $279 billed yearly, plus a 2% fee on managed spend, and Helium 10 lists its Enterprise plan, from $1,499, for budgets of $25K to $1M a month ( pricing, verified Nov 4, 2026). Pros: research and ads in one login, with rule suggestions and dayparting. Cons: the 2% fee grows with spend, and larger budgets may need Enterprise.

Scale Insights

Scale Insights prices by the number of ASINs you automate: $78 a month for 5, $178 for 20, up to $688 for 100, with 20% off yearly billing and a 30 day free trial ( pricing, verified Nov 4, 2026). Pros: cost doesn't rise with ad spend, and rules are visible and editable. Cons: cost climbs with catalog size, and it rewards users who write their own rules.

Ad Badger

Ad Badger charges a flat fee by spend tier: $275 a month up to $5K, $440 up to $25K, $660 up to $75K, and $920 up to $250K, with a 30 day trial and a managed option ( pricing, verified Nov 4, 2026). Pros: no percentage of spend inside a tier. Cons: cost jumps when spend crosses a tier line.

Teikametrics

Teikametrics Essentials costs $149 a month billed yearly or $179 monthly for up to $10K in ad spend. Above that, it's custom pricing plus 3% of spend over $10K, with managed services available ( pricing, verified Nov 4, 2026). Pros: low entry cost and Walmart coverage alongside Amazon. Cons: above $10K, you're quoted rather than shown a price.

Perpetua

Perpetua's Essentials plan is $695 a month up to $10K in spend. Growth adds a percentage of spend above $10K, and custom pricing starts above $500K ( pricing, verified Nov 4, 2026). Pros: automated bidding and keyword harvesting, with strategist support at higher tiers. Cons: the highest published entry price here, and the percentage isn't public.

BidX

BidX starts at €495 a month plus a percentage of connected ad spend on an annual commitment. Its Managed Platform is €1,995 and Managed Service is €4,995 ( pricing, verified Nov 4, 2026). Pros: one vendor from self service to fully managed. Cons: annual lock-in, euro billing, and an unpublished percentage.

Pacvue

Pacvue is an enterprise commerce platform covering retail media across many marketplaces. It doesn't publish pricing, and access starts with a demo ( Pacvue, verified Nov 4, 2026). Pros: one platform for Amazon plus other retailers. Cons: more platform than an Amazon-only brand needs, and no price until a sales call.

Quartile

Quartile pairs automated bidding with a team of experts and doesn't publish prices ( Quartile, verified Nov 4, 2026). Our Quartile pricing review covers what brands report paying and why the figures disagree. Pros: software and strategy from one provider. Cons: no public pricing, so comparison shopping takes sales calls.

How to choose: match the tool to your spend and team

Pick the pricing model first and the features second. Your monthly ad spend decides which model is cheapest, and your team decides whether you need rules you control or automation with support.

Your situation Start with
$10K to $75K a month, an in-house PPC manager Scale Insights, Ad Badger, or Helium 10 Ads
$75K and up, or selling on several retailers Pacvue, Perpetua, BidX, or Quartile
Under $10K a month, one person running ads Teikametrics Essentials or Ad Badger
Nobody owns PPC strategy Fix that first; software won't

PPC software vs an agency

PPC software executes rules: it adjusts bids, harvests keywords, and schedules budgets. An agency decides what those rules should be, how campaigns are structured, and how ads connect to listings, pricing, and inventory. The two do different jobs, and many established brands use both.

Software can't tell you that a campaign is bidding on the wrong products, or that the real problem is a listing that doesn't convert. Our comparison of agency vs DIY PPC covers the cost side, and what a proper PPC agency does covers the work itself. If you're weighing broader seller tools too, our guide to Amazon Seller Central management software covers what's still worth buying.

FROM THE CMO DESK

Set-and-forget management is one of the recurring problems CMO finds in account audits: campaigns built months ago on a structure nobody has revisited. Automation keeps running whatever strategy it's handed. It won't notice the strategy is wrong. That review is the work our Amazon PPC management team does, with or without a tool in place.

Amazon PPC Software: Questions Before You Sign a Contract

What is the best Amazon PPC software?

There isn't one best tool for every brand. Between $10K and $75K a month, Scale Insights, Ad Badger, and Helium 10 Ads give the most control for the cost. Enterprise and multichannel brands usually shortlist Pacvue, Perpetua, BidX, or Quartile.

How much does Amazon PPC software cost?

Published prices run from $78 a month (Scale Insights, 5 ASINs) to $695 a month (Perpetua) before percentage fees. Helium 10 adds 2% of managed spend on Diamond, and Teikametrics adds 3% above $10K. Pacvue and Quartile quote privately.

Is PPC software better than an agency?

They do different jobs. Software automates bids and rules once a strategy exists. An agency sets that strategy, structures campaigns, and ties ads to listings and inventory. Brands with no one owning PPC strategy usually get more from a service than a tool.

How do you optimize Amazon PPC?

Structure campaigns by match type and intent, review search terms weekly, and set bids from your break-even ACoS. Our guides to what a good ACoS is and Amazon cost per click cover the numbers to watch.
